Mug Luminous Char

Designed by Inuit artist Kenojuak Ashevak, this fine porcelain mug beautifully captures the essence of spring in Canada’s far north. As Ashevak expresses, “When spring finally comes to Canada’s far north, the wind gradually loses its bite as the days grow long and bright.” The mug reflects the seasonal change as Inuit families head off to fish through the ice, anticipating the char’s arrival. The mug comes with a specially designed box that features the artwork and its description, making it a perfect gift or collectible. With a 295 ml (10 oz) capacity, it is both microwave and dishwasher safe for added convenience. The mugs stack neatly for a striking presentation.
